Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44105191) and the date (4/12/1444 AH), in which reference is made to the letter of the National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases (Waqaa), which includes Ministerial Resolution No. (86877) and the date ( 12/23/1444 AH), Regarding the imposition of a temporary ban on the import of bovine animals, sheep, goats, and deer from the countries of the European continent and the African continent, due to foot-and-mouth disease, and to the reports issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) regarding the sanitary-epidemiological situation of the spread of this disease in (the Republic of Moldova and the State of Eritrea), which showed that the injuries are confined to specific areas in the state of Eritrea, The disease does not exist in the Republic of Moldova, therefore, a decision was issued by His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Prevention No. (227692) and dated (11/19/1444 AH), to lift the ban on importing live livestock for slaughter and breeding from the Republic of Moldova, and the state of Eritrea.
